About the Event

Join In-Person at out next Vantage Executive Forum where David Magy will be presenting on “Stop Reading The News – Trends That Are Surprising But Seem To Be True”

Uncertainty seems to be a constant today.  Tariffs, government shutdowns, conflicts in other parts of the world that are on/off – the news cycle seems to be in overdrive.  David will talk about what is indeed happening around us (economically) based on surprising headlines that seem to be quick to appear and disappear.  He will focus on terms and trends as well as steps we can take to move forward and stay reasonably healthy.

About the Presenter

David has worked extensively designing staffing systems for human resources, from both consulting and corporate perspectives. David’s impressive grasp of organizations and human capital needs strengthened in the human resource departments of Fortune 500 companies: Honeywell and Pillsbury Company (acquired by General Mills), and Farm Credit Services of Saint Paul as well.

David co-founded Abeln, Magy, Underberg & Associates in 1996 as a respected partner in recruiting key talent within a large array of business: family owned, non-profit, high technology, food related, manufacturing, and multi-national corporations.

Fun facts and interests:

David is very active in the community. As a “friend of the board” within three non-profit organizations, he’s busy with special projects such as assuring a safe and secure environment, working with youth camps and cleaning up from natural disasters. He is married to a (recently retired) fire fighter and has three children and three grandchildren. David enjoys many diverse hobbies and pursuits (he likes to collect experiences) – from martial arts to sports cars.
